My 1st Sneak Peak

Crazy does not even begin to describe my life right now!  Things have been a roller coaster and I feel like my seat belt is broken and I am on this ride to stay for a while.  But I can say...I AM LOVING IT!!!

Since my last post I have had three photo shoots and have booked two more.  I am working on a website so that others can see my work and see what type of portrait photographer I aim to be.  I will say that the first three shoots were all different and all great!  I had a maternity shoot, a children's shoot of two precious little girls and an 8 day old newborn shoot.  I guess I covered the spectrum in my 1st week.  They were all fun and I really started to build some confidence in my ability to capture moments as they are happening.  In real time...in real life!

So I am posting my very 1st sneak peak for you all and my customer to see should she check my blog before proofing her pics!  I will be getting a business blog up and running but until then, yall are stuck seeing my work in the midst of the stories about my life as you have so come to love!

Thanks M & D for being my 1st guinea pigs!  Yall were great and made the shoot so much fun.  I can't wait to meet your precious baby girl!
And yes, I did take pictures of their faces but I will wait to show you those after they have seen all their proofs!

Speaking of my crazy stories...I have to share what happened at Sonic today as it is too good not to share with you guys.  Today the kids and I were at Sonic, taking advantage of Happy Hour (why this part of the world's Sonics just discovered Happy Hour is beyond me) and ordering us a large sweet tea to take to the pool.  Well where we live, they are working on the Sonic and have different parts blocked off depending on what day you go.  Today, they were blocking off the last row of car slots and part of the drive thru.  So you basically were stuck in the drive thru line if you pulled in today.  Well, Miss Beige Suburban Soccer Mom decided that she didn't like this idea and thought that she would just try to drive around everyone.  Hello lady...you are driving the biggest vehicle possible next to a 15 passenger van!  She was right behind me so I had the pleasure of observing her every move in my rear view mirror.  Boy was she hot!  Livid I should say.  Madder than a hornets nest for all you southern gals.  So she proceeds to inch closer and closer to me thinking that if she gets close enough I might magically be able to pull over into nothingness and let her by.  This lady was going off.  Not necessarily to me but just to the situation.  And yes, she had her kids in the car.  Setting such a fine example of patience and driving skill all wrapped up in one.  The best part of this story is when I finally got up to the speaker to order (where there was a small opening, enough to get out of the drive thru and pull around it now) she pulled past me and there emblazoned on her big 'ol burb was this...
Hey Miss Beige Suburban Soccer Mom...IT'S SONIC...AT HAPPY HOUR...RIGHT WHEN EVERYONE GETS OUT OF SCHOOL AND RUNS THEIR KIDS BY BEFORE TAKING THEM TO SOCCER PRACTICE...IT'S GONNA BE BUSY...YOU SHOULD KNOW THIS....CALM DOWN AND ENJOY THE CHERRY LIMEADE!

Thanks for letting me get that off my chest!

So tomorrow it is off with several friends & lots of little ones to the Tulsa Zoo With this week being shareholders week here in Wal-Mart town, I could not be happier to be getting out of here for the day.  More on that later and stay tuned for more pics from my shoots.  Can't wait to show them to you all and get your opinions.

you are so very, very talented as a photographer! I can't wait to see more of your pictures on your new website! BTW, the 'Sonic' story cracked me up--I think I've had a few run-in's with fake 'fish' people. So sad...

AWESOME PHOTOS!!!!!!!

I AM LAUGHING SOOOO HARD!!!! It's ALWAYS the "fishes".

One that was almost that crazy was a lady on the I40-630 loop in Little Rock after work tried to bust the line and flipped another car off and I was watching this in my rear view mirror and she drove past a few seconds later and there was the fish....and the name of her church!!!! Bet she had to go forward and sign the forgive me card that Sunday.
