And Then....

I thought I was going to dinner with some friends we haven't seen in a while....

and then my Ryan had thrown me a surprise party and I walked into the restaurant and all our closest friends were there....

and then we had cake & spanish coffee...

and then we had John Samuel's birthday on Sunday...

and then the kids woke up with fever on Monday....

and then Elliot disrobed (again) and pooped in literally twenty different places in the playroom...
and then her & Keaton decided to play in it....
and then I spent the rest of the morning steam cleaning the playroom...
and then they took a nap a woke up with fevers around 102...
and then we went to the Dr....
and then they tested Keaton for strep, which gaged him...
and then...oh yes....he puked ALL over me, down the back, in the shoes, covering me...
and then we found out it was something viral so nothing we can do...

and then they woke up Tuesday with no fevers...
and then Miss Elliot wore big girl panties for half a day with no accidents...

and then my mom came up for my birthday on Wednesday...
and then we went swimming with the Shewmakers....

and then my dad came for the weekend....
and then we went swimming Saturday & Sunday...
and then Elliot & my mom got stung by red wasp but Elliot also learned to go under water holding her breath...

and then we crashed and napped all day on Sunday.

So that is what's been going on.

Love the photo of ELliot in the big girl panties. Happy birthday all around! Hope all (still) feels better.

It started out so wonderful! Your posts always end in throw up. :) Glad kids are all better. Is pooping in multiple places and playing in it a phase I need to be concerned about? That doesn't sound like a girl thing.

That photograph of Elliot is just gorgeous.

What a wonderful surprise for you. You look fabulous, we don't get to see many photographs of you seeing as you are always on the other side of the camera.

As for the poop incident we had one of those last night. Miss M pooped after her bath, F decided to pick it up and put it on the table and what was left in his hands went all over himself as he tried to wipe it off. Fabulous, just fabulous. Ugh.

Happy Birthday, Mel!!! What a fun surprise. I can't say that I look forward to vomit and poop in my near future. But I'm SURE I have it coming. Love to all the Halfords!

And then what? JK! Glad the kids got over the sickness quickly- but yucky experience at the dr. office. And I thought getting shots were bad...

And then....

...what an awesome husband, to surprise you like that.

...how cute is Eli's cherry suit. Our twins have the same one.

...how much fun are those pool pictures?

...how old are your twins again, because Eli seems pretty smart to be potty training already. You go girl.
